A nice small cafe in Belgrave about fifteen minutes walking from Dandenong Ranges National Park. I enjoyed the quiet town atmosphere and the positive attitude of the barristas. No bathroom though meant not being able to stick around for a thorough read.

Roast - Unknown
Cost - $4
Culture - Quiet with the distinct aroma of patchouli.
Quality - 3/5

Located on Howard St in North Melbourne just around the corner from the YHA. A quiet street even in the middle of the day.

Roast - Unknown
Cost - $4
Culture - Relaxed building with high ceilings. Good music choices, though sometimes the music would buffer. A real bummer in the middle of a good song.
Quality - 4/5

What's the blacklist about?

I have no formal experience reviewing coffee, though I do have hours of practical experience in cafe's drinking an afternoon away over a brew, a good book, and my journal. Here I will review the coffee shops I visit in the only way I know how: Simply. Nothing fancy here, just a cup of black coffee in each spot.  Sorry to all the mocha-frapa-latte drinkers out there...

Reviews will have four categories:
The roast type and name (if applicable)
The cost of the cup
The culture, or ambiance of each location
The overall quality on a scale of 5
